Sustrans Healthy Journeys Scheme

Ysgol Abererch has been involved in the Sustrans Healthy Journeys scheme since 2016 and has gained a silver accreditation. The aim of the scheme is to encourage parents and pupils to travel to school in a healthy way, by either cycling, scootering or walking to school. A Sustrans officer will collaborate with the school to arrange activities to promote this. The scheme ties-in with the healthy school principles.
